Sexy Delta Flight Attendant, Katherine Lee's Lips Makes Safety Video A Chartbreaker on YouTube
Is it Botox or is it Mother Nature? That's the debate raging on YouTube since the recent posting of Delta Air Lines' new on-board safety video. You know, the one that shows you how to buckle your seatbelt and warns you to don an oxygen mask before helping a child do the same?
An attractive (and real) flight attendant, red-headed Katherine Lee, delivers the message in this new announcement with her swollen lips that apparently began the debate about whether they were medically enhanced or not
As of this writing, the video has been viewed more than 350,000 times in the first three days it's been posted on YouTube even though it won't begin appearing on board Delta flights for another week.
Lee was part of a company casting call for the new safety video, and she won. Within days, her video had made her an Internet star, and this morning she appeared on CNN. Asked if she'd consider offers to go into acting or modeling, Lee allowed as how she loves being a flight attendant and had no other plans. Given the number of people who wrote they intended to begin flying Delta more often in the hope Lee would be working their flight, it's a good bet Lee won't be part of the massive employee cutbacks planned by Delta.

My vote's for botox. But I'm no less enamored. Her video is on the top of my list: http://www.elliott.org/blog/5-sexiest-in-flight-safety-videos-ever/

Even with that disturbingly calm forehead of hers distracting me, I still got a charge out of her wagging finger. The director was definitely pushing the corporate envelope on that one.

She looks like she's had a nose job and lip enhancement. Her face is pretty, but strange looking in some way. Maybe because she doesn't have a good jawline. Maybe she'll have implants done next.

I think it is terrible that this program promotes and glorifies alcohol. I saw a promo for Rudy Maxa and Smart Travels in Europe, where they admonished people to "sample the good life" and showed people drinking champagne. So they think that "the good life" is using a toxic, highly-addictive psychoactive drug??? This sets a terrible example! Alcohol is a TOXIN. It has been linked to cancer, birth defects, heart, brain, liver damage and more. It SIGNIFICANLTY raises the risk of breast cancer in women. Even if alcohol were healthy, just the fact that it is a mind-altering drug makes it wrong? All these booze drinkers would never smoke pot. Heavens no, because "drugs are bad". Yet they think nothing of using a mind-altering drug in the form of alcohol. They are hypocrites! And this just gives all the pot smokers justification to continue THEIR drug use. It is terrible how so many travel shows, cooking shows and restaurant review shows promote and glorify alcohol. PBS is the worst when it comes to this. What makes it especially bad is that these are REAL PEOPLE promoting alcohol, not characters on a TV show, like Darrin and Samantha. I always say we can hardly chastise our youth for underage drinking, when grown adults make alcohol look so glamorous, romantic, sophisticated, fun and acceptable. A grown adult should know better and NOT DRINK. I have written to PBS many times to complain about all their programs which promote and glorify alcohol, yet they STILL DO IT. I will never donate to Public Broadcasting, and I will never watch these travel shows. It is just terrible that PBS runs commercials for Rudy Maxa's program which show people drinking booze, and how they refer to this as "sampling the good life."

Cindy,
Nothing wrong with tasting some Champaign. I think you need to relax a bit.
Anyway, I liked the Sexy Lips Delta Video...

Are you kidding??? How about getting your injected lips and fake cheek implants on the airplane and WORK for once!! Are you kidding? Being in the safety video has been you life long dream. YIKES!! I have much more NATURALLY beautiful friends that could have auditioned for this video but I guess they chose to save there money in todays economy instead of using every means of plastic surgery enhancement to live out a pathetic life long dream!! By the way, I am a flight attendant also so I have beauty around me daily!

I just hate that this video was obviously designed for men - trying to make the flying experience "sexy" for adult men. It is not meant for women (and I am a professional who travels ALL the time - how dare they exclude me!) or families. Shame on you, Delta Airlines!

Nice video, completely aim for men, but like most of the advertising on tv, mostly focused on men. Thanks for sharing.
