Rudy Maxa Podcasts - Traveler Magazine's 50 Walks of a Lifetime
I’ve collaborated with writers from National Geographic Traveler magazine and Apple to produce a series of podcasts titled “50 Walks of a Lifetime.” These free podcasts are, just as the title suggests, walking tours of 50 great parts of the world.
What does that mean to you? Well, if you’re headed to New York City and want to take a walking tour of the architecture and sights of Tribeca, just download the New York City podcast and stroll around at your leisure. Or if Miami Beach is on your agenda, we’ve put together a nice walk through the Art Deco district.
In Paris, it’s the St. Germain des Pres neighborhood on the Left Bank. (That one is worth downloading to hear me murdering the French language, as usual.) In DC, we do the National Mall, that beautiful stretch from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial. There are also podcasts of walking tours of Tokyo, Berlin and London.
And we’ll keep adding cities, wilderness treks, and country rambles on Fridays until we hit the number 50. They’re yours for the taking, no charge, using your preferred podcasting tool:
